CRM Software RFP Client References

Please cite two (2) external CRM software references (with similar characteristics, size and needs) from key managers authorized to represent any of your customers. The company name, client's contact name, title, responsibility, address, telephone number, and e-mail address of each is required. A brief description of the specific CRM software and services provided to the respective client should be included. CRM software references should be willing to talk informally to our evaluation team as well as supply a written reference. CRM references must represent first-hand experience with your services over a period of time, and be willing to share their experience within the past two (2) years. Also please list one (1) CRM reference that has discontinued using your products and services in the past two (2) years (with similar characteristics, size and needs as outlined in this CRM RFP).

Advice:

Many experienced consultants and negotiators have eliminated the request for references as they consider it a meaningless effort and waste of time. All the SaaS CRM and other CRM software vendors clearly have a list of flag waiving reference accounts that they use for this purpose. In order to truly determine client satisfaction levels, we have found it far more meaningful to receive each vendors customer churn (turnover) rate for at least the prior two fiscal years.
